Curating furniture, art and objects is often the most exciting part of the process – it’s when your meticulously designed home feels finished, representative of you, and luxuriously comfortable. It’s the final phase of our Full Service, but also stands alone as one of our coveted much-loved offerings.
As we’re immersed in the design universe, we know what’s trending and what has that special point of difference. Taking your sourcing research further, we know what’s available, what’s on budget, what’s worth hunting down (with the help of our little black book), what will need to be created bespoke and by which talented maker.
PROJECT INITIATION:
This phase includes our Design Session, where we do all the listening. Understanding your personal, family and social rituals ensures that the collection is curated to fit you perfectly. From this point, we establish a budget, define a precise brief and measure each room. We always ensure that your existing possessions are carefully integrated with new purchases.
CURATION:
Following the Design Session, we’ll gather and refine ideas in response to the brief. We’ll present imagery to explain the mood and dive into the fun part: proposing key pieces, materials and colours, a furniture plan and indicative pricing. Here you’ll see the initial ideas translated into itemised and costed specifications, and often some beautiful pieces that will be custom-made just for you. A showroom product list is created, allowing you to visit, feel, sit and test each item. Once you’re happy with the selections, we will revise and finalise the floorplan, schedule and budget.
PROCUREMENT:
Once your product curation is final, we take care of the nitty-gritty – preparing and placing orders, approving finishes and ensuring that every payment has been received and recorded. Our wonderful suppliers then create and ship your items to us.
We oversee the coordination of all orders, track deliveries – including managing those fragile and oversized items that require special attention – quality control all items, and resolve any defects. Finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for: arranging each beautiful item in your home, just so, and adding final touches before stepping back and taking in the result.
Lastly, we’ll reveal your meticulously finished home, room by room. We’ll take time to evaluate the project, identify any opportunities for additional styling, and provide all product details, warranty and care instructions for future reference.
